No, I did not buy those shoes. Worse, I end up at Sephora and spent 2 pair of shoes worth on shampoo and conditioner

Of course I felt bad after. So I brought lunch today. And plan to avoid any shops on my way home or online.

We were not poor as kids, and we were not rich. I had nice things because my mom and dad would custom make them in house, they were well known tailors in our town. Despite the times, we had food, shelter, and basic things.

So why I tend to spend? don't know. Maybe lack of financial education?

And I am not doing a better job with my son...
